Mansour Ndiaye has over 20 years of experience in economic and social policy making in Africa as a development economist. His recent focus of work includes notably inclusive and sustainable growth, poverty reduction, SDGs, food security, social protection, urbanization, private sector development, population and resilience issues.
Prior to joining UNDP in 2010, Mansour served as an economist in the African department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF, 2001-2003) and has held management positions with the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO, 1996-2000 and 2003-2010). He is a former research fellow of the African Economic Research Consortium and has been a visiting scholar in various institutions, notably the research department of the IMF.
